ISP Sustainability Reporting, Data, and Project Coordinator Role Profile
 
 
Purpose of Role
 
ISP is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Sustainability Reporting, Data, and Project Coordinator to join our Group ESG team and report to the Group Head of ESG, while working closely with cross-functional teams across our business, including Branding, Communications, Learning, and Property Teams. This role will be instrumental in executing ISP`s sustainability strategy, with a focus on driving reporting and shaping transparent and effective internal and external communications in the context of impact and long-term value creation.

This new position will be part of the dedicated and growing central ESG team delivering a new global strategy and approach. 
You will have the opportunity to gain project management experience supporting the Global Head of ESG in the coordination of projects, programmes, and deliverables, particularly as it relates to developing cohesive messaging internally and externally on our ESG targets, progress, and impact, as well as measuring and validating key ESG data, including energy and carbon emissions data. You will also work with our Group Environmental Manager and Sustainability Engagement Specialist to support the implementation of our sustainability projects, such as developing internal communications and training around our environmental management system and processes, integrating a whole school sustainability approach across our global network, etc.  
The role is largely remote, with preferences for a candidate based in countries where we have schools.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Administrative and Project Support: 
  • Provide administrative and strategic project support to Group Head of ESG and help sustainability team drive key initiatives forward 
  • Manage and coordinate critical projects and ad hoc requests that enhance organizational ESG impact and achieve team goals 
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for steering committee, leadership updates, and other internal communications 
  • Assist with shareholder/board reporting, project progress reports, GHG audits and assurance processes 
ESG Data Management and Reporting: 
  • Take ownership of the complete energy and carbon emissions reporting process, including data collection, validation, and stakeholder engagement 
  • Develop analytical tools needed to evaluate and measure ESG efforts aligned to our strategic goals, milestones, and KPIs; monitor and analyse to support decision-making and inform action plans  
  • Develop, maintain, and share dashboards to meet the needs of various stakeholders at various levels of group-wide reporting 
  • Coordinate onboarding of new schools into the ESG data management platform and provide stakeholder training 
Sustainability Compliance and Regulatory Support: 
  • Compile sustainability regulatory compliance reports and assist in preparing annual reports and accounts, with responsibility for elements of content creation 
  • Conduct ESG reporting landscape reviews and horizon scanning to stay up to date on regulatory developments 
ESG Strategy, Communications, and Stakeholder Engagement:  
  • Support internal ESG communications strategy, creating assets to build excitement and engagement across the organization, including supporting development and delivery of training on ESG topics to build organizational knowledge and skills in sustainability 
  • Develop effective internal and external sustainability-related communications 
  • Collaborate with Global Head of ESG on governance and strategy coordination, supporting ad-hoc strategic projects as needed. 
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Passion and Initiative: Demonstrated interest in sustainability and social impact, with a proactive, initiative-driven approach to identifying opportunities and taking independent action to achieve meaningful outcomes. 
  • Adaptability and Ownership: Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic team environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership, committed to seeing projects through from planning to completion with dedication and attention to detail. Quick to get up to speed on new or existing initiatives and able to take ownership of advancing efforts to deliver high-quality outcomes in priority workstreams. 
  • Data and Analytical Skills: Skilled in data collection, management and analysis, particularly in Excel; experience with ESG and carbon data is a plus. Able to translate complex data into actionable insights and effectively communicate trends to senior stakeholders to support decision-making. 
  • Project Management and Delivery: 2-5 years of experience in administration or project management, ideally with exposure to ESG or sustainability. Competent in managing projects from scoping through to delivery, consistently meeting high standards and deadlines. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building collaborative relationships across teams and cultures. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively. Experience in creating and delivering ESG/sustainability reports for multinational organizations in accordance with recognised standards a plus.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written); Spanish proficiency is a plus.
